What We Do
Our goal is to raise support for the University of Texas at San Antonio and produce funding for their college athletics through thematic events associated with the various sports teams—both women’s and men’s – that the city’s businesses and citizens will cheerfully support.
How It Works
Through the support of marketing firms that provide services at zero cost, City Fans 210 produces & hosts events like the ‘Roadrunners Kickoff Luncheon’ and the ‘Birds Up Golf Classic’ to fundraise for the various UTSA sports programs. Our primary goal is to help fund UTSA athletes focus on both academics and their chosen sport—to be the best they can be!
All compensation we provide to student-athletes is approved by our board of directors and is in concert with our mission of support. All offers are made in compliance with NCAA and University Compliance measures.
Our Process
An interested brand, business or individual makes a request for a UTSA athlete to support their need or mission.
Deal is evaluated by the City Fans 210 board president for consideration.
If approved, the UTSA athlete is presented with ‘service commitments’ they must fulfill.
Once City Fans 210 completes a deal with the athlete, we notify University Compliance.
Athlete fulfills the tasks & services outlined in the agreement to receive compensation.
Athletes are paid directly by City Fans 210 under the terms of their written agreement once City Fans 210 receives funding.
